Alex Best had recently separated from her husband George, once Britain's greatest and most charismatic soccer player.

Alex opened her heart and told the others of her nightmare life with her alcoholic husband. She explained how George made abusive phone calls to her at all hours and smashed up her car and house.

Jordan asked why and Alex explained: “Because I was two hours late home.”

She also described how she went to another woman’s house, went in, saw George's bag, went upstairs and opened the only door that was closed: “I went in. He was lying on the bed. There were 12 bottles of champagne and wine.”

While Alex was in the jungle George failed a roadside breath-test.
